KaidisenKaidisen Bermuda Roofing System evolved from the traditional and most commonly used roofing system in Bermuda since 1640.  The traditional Bermuda roof is both elegant and efficient.  The 400 year old tradition of Bermuda limestone roofing comes from European stone roofing practices where slabs ("slates") of stone are double layered ("shingled) and mortared together to resist wind and rain.

Kaidisen Bermuda Roofing System maintains the elegance and utility of the traditional Bermuda roof and enhances its performance by making it stronger and lighter.  It is made lighter by the substitution of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) for the traditional quarried limestone and engineered lightweight mortar for the traditional sand based mortar.  It is made stronger with fastening clips, reinforcing scrim and elastomeric coating.  These proprietary innovations increase the overall durability, wind uplift capacity, impact, fire resistance and energy efficiency of the original system.

Additionally, the reflective white coating, the insulating lightweight masonry assembly and the vented cavity construction work together to provide a very cool roof.

KAIDISEN’S MISSION

Kaidisen's mission is to provide durable elegant roofing.  We began by incorporating the essence of the traditional Bermuda roof into an engineered system designed to perform under extreme conditions.  We are intent on improving and refining our systems and serving our customers.  As part of our commitment to excellence we are available to developers and construction professionals to answer technical questions, provide project design review, specifications and details.
